Flight Change Assistance When Your Return Date Changes
Start by finding your fare rules: some fares allow changes for free, others charge a fee plus any fare difference.
Compare the change cost with the cost of a new one-way ticket before deciding.
Changing only the return leg can affect the price of the whole round trip.
Make changes before departure when possible, as rules often differ after a flight has left.
Compare before you change
Sometimes cancelling and rebooking costs less than a change fee. Check both before deciding.
Document everything
Save new itinerary emails and confirm that the new flight appears on the airline's website.
